A Bronx original, Mitch is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Tito Puente. For literally decades Mitch toured the world with Puente right up until the maestros final gig. A superb sight reader and technician Mitch is a perfectionist when it comes to his performances. When a lesser section player might be thrilled with a first stab at running down the chart or even more importantly taking a solo flight, Mitch makes quite sure that his name doesn't go on it till it is the best that it can be. Not simply content with scaring the crap out of other saxophonists Mitch is also a fearsome flute player as well and makes sure that the same level of excellence applies to all his musical outlets.
